THE ART OF BEING ME
FORMAT: 1 DAY WORKSHOP
FOR GIRLS AGED: 11+
GROUP SIZE: UP TO 12 GIRLS
DELIVERED: IN SCHOOL / YOUTH GROUP SETTING
This one-day workshop explores how the media portrays women, challenging social and gender stereotypes through art, photography, and discussion.
THE MISSION:
An exciting day of art & photography! Plan and be part of your own photoshoot, create a monoprint and collage of your photo, and develop your creative skills and confidence. Challenge body image stereotypes and celebrate self-acceptance in a supportive, empowering environment.
No previous experience necessary!
WHAT TO EXPECT & WHAT’S INCLUDED:

We’ll help your school/group find the perfect venue. If not held at school, we have contacts across Wiltshire, Bath, and Somerset.
Please note the venue must provide:
Toilets
A sink for washing brushes
Tables and chairs for 12 attendees
Wi-fi
Venue costs are additional to the workshop fee.Comprehensive risk assessments provided
Support with bookings via our website, if required
We can visit your school/group in advance to share a plan for the day

Workshop Hours: 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including a lunch break.
Expert Facilitators: Two experienced, DBS-checked art facilitators will lead the session. Learn more about our team here.
Materials Provided: All art supplies are included, and each participant will create a canvas or framed picture to take home.
A day filled with creativity, confidence-building, and memorable experiences!

Participants will leave with their completed canvas or framed artwork as a lasting reminder of their creativity and self-expression.
Schools or groups will receive a summary of the workshop outcomes, including photos (with consent) and reflections from the day.
Opportunities for follow-up sessions or longer-term projects can be discussed to continue the journey of creativity and body acceptance.

Our one day Art & Photography Body Positive Workshop is from £775.
This cost includes:
